Broccolo Fiolaro is a traditional Italian leafy broccoli from Veneto, prized for its tender shoots, delicate bitterness and deep green flavour.
More leafy and refined than standard broccoli, it has a rustic, slightly sweet taste that becomes soft and savoury when cooked. Popular in Northern Italian cooking, Broccolo Fiolaro is excellent sautéed with extra virgin olive oil, garlic and chilli, or served with pasta, risotto, sausages, grilled meats, eggs and seasonal vegetable dishes.
