Dive into the bold flavours of Capocollo Piccante, a spicy dry-cured pork collar joint weighing approximately 500g. This Italian delicacy combines the traditional craftsmanship of capocollo with a fiery twist, offering a tantalizing taste experience for those who love their meat with a bit of heat. Crafted from select cuts of pork, this capocollo is seasoned with a blend of spices and Italian chili peppers, then slowly cured to perfection, resulting in a meat that is both tender and robust in flavour.

Its texture is ideally firm yet supple, making it perfect for slicing thinly and serving as part of an antipasto platter, in sandwiches, or as a flavourful addition to your favorite recipes.
This capocollo is generously sized, ideal for sharing with family and friends or for special occasions. It's a testament to the art of Italian charcuterie, showcasing the perfect marriage of heat, spice, and premium pork.

About Deliciously Fine Foods
Italian food, without the long way round
Much of the Italian food sold in Britain takes the long way round. It leaves a small producer, joins a large importer, passes through a distributor or two and rests for a while on a warehouse shelf. It arrives with a price that has grown at every stop and a story nobody remembers. The salami is still Italian. It has simply lost its passport photo.
We take the short way, from the people who make it to your door.
How it began
Our founder, Luigi, was born in Rome and moved to London in 2012. He found plenty of Italian food here, but very little of the food he grew up with: salumi made by families rather than factories, cheeses and preserves from small producers, the things you only find if you know whom to ask. So in 2016 he started bringing them over himself, first for London's restaurants and shops, and now for your kitchen too.
Luigi is also our Executive Chef. He chooses what we sell the way a chef would, by cooking with it first.
What makes us different
We know the people who make our food. Luigi personally knows every producer we import, takes part in their planning meetings and is in Italy every couple of weeks. Most are family businesses. Subissati, for example, has been curing pork in the hills of Maremma since 1963.
Some of it you won't find anywhere else. Subissati, Maremma in Barattolo, Toro & Bottega, Egisto Grilli and Ugo Tartufi are imported into the UK by us alone.
Fewer hands, better value. No chain of middlemen means more of what you pay goes into the food itself.
From our kitchen
At our kitchen in New Covent Garden Market, Luigi leads the cooking with the same ingredients we import: fresh pesto, baked dishes such as lasagne, cannelloni, gateau di patate and parmigiana, hot and cold soups, fresh condiments and stock paste, prepared vegetables, and plenty more made only for you, our market stall and our catering.
A recipe's name is never unique. London has twenty kitchens making lasagne ai funghi. What makes a dish is the ingredients, the method and, above all, who makes it, so ours tastes like nobody else's. All the pleasure of an Italian Sunday lunch, without the washing-up from the day before.
We can also come to you
Our private chefs cook in your home, for dinners of four to twelve guests in central London, and for events of any size. For special occasions we bring chefs over from Italy. Meet our chefs →
Find us at the market
On Saturdays you'll find us at Hoxton Street Market with our products and Poké Italiano: rice salads made with the ingredients we import and cook. Do come and say hello. We're the ones talking about pancetta.
Why choose us
- Genuine. We can tell you who made it, where and how, because we were there.
- Capable. We import, cook and deliver it ourselves.
- Good value. You pay for the food, not for the journey.
- Unique. Some of our producers work with nobody else in the UK, and our recipes taste of the hands that make them.
People who work for people
We're a small team at New Covent Garden Market: to name two, Louis in the kitchen and Thea in the office. We love good food, love the people who make it, and have rather taken to the people who eat it. We deliver across London, Monday to Friday, and send the rest of the UK by courier. There's no minimum order, so a single jar of pesto is as welcome as a feast.
