Unfiltered Ichnusa beer, or simply Ichnusa, is a famous Sardinian beer, produced in Assemini, a city near Cagliari: the capital of Sardinia. This beer is called after the ancient Latin name of Sardinia: Hyknusa.
Ichnusa is an unfiltered, bottom fermented beer, 100% pure barley malt. The recipe uses light barley malt and caramelised barley malt, a blend that gives Ichnusa Non Filtrata a round taste, gives delicate herbaceous sensations and notes of yellow fruit and apricot.
