The family holds vines in Monvigliero, a south-facing slope at around 230 to 300 metres, with an average vine age of about 40 years. Each year only a selected part of the harvest becomes this Barolo, roughly 5,000 bottles of 100% Nebbiolo.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe style is all about finesse: rose petals, red fruit and spice on the nose, a fresh, firm structure and polished tannins. It is already approachable and has many years ahead of it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOpen one now with braised beef or a truffle risotto and lay the rest down, horizontal and cool.
